Mercerised, so it won’t become loose over time, it takes sharp patterns and cables well and is versatile. It’s a weighty DK or light Aran taking from 4mm needles up to 5mm for a firm fabric, or 6mm for lacy shawls and tops. Memphis comes in 220m/100gm balls and is machine washable to 60C.
